I saw this last year and figured I must have read it wrong. But no, you get ST3 for free. You can sell the little keyboard for half price and say you bought ST3 for $35. I'm guessing ST3 was a flop. There's just so much better stuff out there now. Horns are still terrible, not much improvement from ST2. But the rest of it is quite usable, sounds and interface are improved from ST2 and it's also in 64 bit now. Just not up to speed with the competition, which you will pay a whole lot more for. And ST2 worked great with BIAB, hopefully ST3 does as well. I used to make some good tracks with BIAB and ST2's Omnisynth, before the wonderful world of Realtracks changed how I do everything.
