There's a helluva lot of emotion packed in those few words and that terrific vocal.
I'm old enough to have seen my father and many uncles from the depression and wwII generation pass on. Your song took me immediately to them.

This is beautiful. Nicely floating and drifting sound. Very gentle.
Beautiful chord progression and lyrics, and top-notch vocals as always.

hands singing all those sweet
folk songs of Dylan, P, P and M,
Joan Baez, Simon & Garfunkel etc.

This is so danged good! My (Alan) father died in 1969 - about a year and a half after I got back from Vietnam. Brought back some memories. You get a lot from so little - that's a true talent. We loved it! Best to you - and the old man!
