I just migrated my BIAB 2008 (257) from ancient overloaded XP to new machine that is running Windows7 64-bit OS.
I don't know if my BIAB software is compatible with new Win7 OS.
Migration went pretty well, BIAB looks like its running, but I get no sound when playing files.
However, I DO get sound when when I enter notes onto editable staff, and I DO hear sound on the piano test for the Microsoft GS Wavetable. Sometimes it says Roland VSC is in use by another program. I'm trying to use DXI Synth with General MIDI 2 (GM2) support.
Since I hear sounds in some situations, I'm hopeful that there is a solution, but I don't know what I need to do to enable sounds on playback.
I've submitted more detailed request for tech help, but wonder if there is a known workaround.
Any suggestions appreciated.....
