To add to this, Real Band has a very neat thing called the Bars Window. It's a grid showing all the bars being used on all tracks. The bars squares are shown in black. This is very useful if you decide to either copy or move entire sections of your song. Example, you want to extend a solo section by 16 bars. Same as shown above, you use the mouse to draw a border around the 16 bars/tracks you want to copy, hit Copy then put the cursor on the bar you want to insert and just paste it. Voila, you just expanded the song by 16 bars. Most tunes have A, B, C etc sections. The Bars Window lets you move/copy/delete entire sections. Or, if you have a killer lick on one bar and want to use that somewhere else then you just copy/paste that one bar from one track rather than all tracks. Very useful and it's one reason I use RB much more than Biab.
