I agree with the Mike, that it is difficult, if not impossible, to tell what chorus is being played. Just one of the several changes to 2017 that I do not find very helpful.
Noel, surely the illustration you show is due to a part markers indicating a new substyle and not the start of a new chorus? If you have say, all 'b' part markers every eight bars, as I do often, all you will see in the Timeline is a many green lines and no indication whatsoever of which chorus it is. Even if you only put a part marker at the beginning of a chorus, it can still be difficult to tell because all of the choruses cannot be seen on the Timeline.
