Watched a TV show last night that mentioned crop circles and how one mathematician figured out that one of them appeared to represent Pi.

While they were showing the various configurations of others that had been found, one of them "rang a bell" for me.

If you take a look at this youtube video and note the one at the 30 second mark, then take a look at Noel96's "avatar", you may find it's somewhat similar.

Perhaps "they" are already familiar with Nashville notation.
Perhaps Noel knows something we don't <grin>.
Care to comment Noel??!?

Interesting... Personally I am interested in this mystery about crop-circles and other unsolved mysteries in general...
Just wonder if there is more people like me in this forum?

I like to watch the PBS-type shows regarding such things.
It sometimes gets to be a little bit much when they start on the "ancient astronaut theorists suggest ..." routines.

What is PBS shows? The biggest problem today, as I see it, is all the deliberated dis-info.. Hard to discern facts from fiction now a days.. Especially when we got to know that Sitchin was a Freemason... And so much of this ancient stuff is based on his books.. I just pick what makes sense to me and what can help me in my own life. Put up a simple pyramid is an easy thing to do, and we can see the result it has first hand...

PBS is the Public Broadcasting Service. It's a non-profit organization that airs shows of public interest. Then there's the National Geographic Channel and I also have 2 "History Channels", which are the ones that normally carry the "Alien Adventure" shows.

That's right PBS is not the Philippine Broadcast System. laugh

This kind of stuff is interesting to me. But I'm more of a Nasca Lines sort of guy.

There's also that show that should have been named "NOT Finding Bigfoot".

I've been trying to convince a few people that big foot has multi-cross bred. The new Sasquatch is a Yeti Zombie that got bit by a Warewolf on the same night he was bitten by a Vampire. DracWolZomSquatch. Problem is there's no one way to kill this guy if you could ever find him in the first place. grin
Could he be in your neighborhood right now?

Yup, the Nasca Lines fascinate me.
And I do remember watching the Bigfoot program and thinking the same thing.
Like your multi-cross bred idea, is that your avatar? <grin>

Tobias, have you noticed that since everyone now has a cell phone that takes pictures no one has taken a picture of Bigfoot!

Lloyd,

Wow! That's spooky. Some of those really do look like the basis of my chord sequence road map! I'll have to think of it as my 'chord sequence crop circle map' now!

A very interesting find!

All the best,
Noel

Ah, ok.. Not watching TV anymore, but did a lot before, especially the channels u mentioned here. Now, I am more topic oriented and watching/downloading, when my connection allow for it, videos, PDF documents about stuff I want to learn more about, especially stuff that can be of any practical help for me in my own daily life/development....

Yeah, but DracWolZombSquatch doesn't have flying reindeer and he doesn't wear red, he doesn't eat cookies and can't fit down the chimney. I mean anybody who could do all that and fly around the world in one night really has nothing to hide. So, maybe people should give him/her the benefit of the doubt. Beside, maybe you have seen him/her. Have you ever seen a bat? A wolf? A person with a face so ugly they refuse to shave in fear of scaring somebody. Or, maybe he/she is completely ashamed of how ugly he/she is and that's why he/she has become good at avoiding cameras. And, maybe he/she is wifi and bluetooth sensitive so he/she knows when cameras and cell phone are in the vicinity. You gotta respect ones right to privacy you know. Or, maybe he/she is an alien with an invisible flying saucer. What about Chubacka? He's got to have a mommy from some planet somewhere in the galaxy. You just never know so,... anyway,... I don't want to judge. Especially when I don't have all the information.

Yes. Quite often.
If you haven't, stop by the area. They aren't uncommon at all. I see them most every night once things thaw.
If you are talking baseball bats, Detroit area seems to have plenty of these too this year (when they're healthy).
<grin>

A wolf?

again affirmative. Have not seen wolves around here (though they are back in the lower peninsula), it's the coyotes that are starting to make me nervous ..
my wolf encounters were in Boundary Waters
/Boundary Waters is awesome, but be prepared if you decide to do it, you're literally on your own for a few days, and then they expect to pick you up at another location in a 4,000,000 acre forest. Do not get lost.

I do not work here, but the benefits are still awesome

HI ALL
Just my take on all of this corn circle stuff.

Something I done a while back inspired by a field Corn Marigolds on one of my walkabouts.
Sort of circle theme based on a Bolero type rhythm. Using a simple nursery rhyme type phrase .

Circles In The Corn.
Now For Something Completely Different
If you ever played in a cornfield as a child you may remember a slightly uneasy feeling although it was fun, to me there was something a little bit scary, maybe it was just that the corn was so high and we were so small and shouldn’t have been there anyway.
So based on some of my darker childhood memories and many reports in the press over the years, of mysterious corn circles that appear over night. I have tried to put my thoughts into a sort of musical daydream.
The late afternoon sun glints on the cornfield children dance in circles in the corn until it time to go home for super.
Birds sing their last evening song and calm settles over the land.
As dusk turns to darkness a new sound comes from the corn, and something or someone else circles the corn, and dance through the night as if to imitate the children.
Early morning light brings back the birdsong and the cornfield begins to slowly wind its way back to normal.
The children return to dance and sing. And everything seems the same …. But maybe not quite…
(We are not alone)

More evidence in Pine Cove California. We keep our RV in Thousand Trails campground year round. This is on the side of the road we walk our dogs on. Perhaps there is an entire petrified Sasquatch buried here but excavation is restricted due to this area being the habitat of the rare and highly endangered Three Legged Hefalump. The first time I saw this sign I completely missed the foot and climbed to the top of the hill above it to scout out the large pile of car sized boulders on top. I searched all over and could find no reason the place would be called Big Foot Rock.

Just read through this thread and then I just now saw a cartoon on Facebook showing Bigfoot arriving at two campers' campsite. Bigfoot is portrayed with a very large right foot only and says, "they don't call me Bigfeet, do they?" LOL

202 New RealTracks Released with Band-in-a-Box 2026!

With Band-in-a-Box® 2026, we've released 202 incredible new RealTracks (in sets 468-488) in a variety of genres—featuring your most requested styles!

Jazz, Funk & World (Sets 468-475):
Our new jazz, funk & blues RealTracks include a groovin’ collection of RealTracks and RealDrums! These include more requested “soul jazz” RealTracks featuring artists Neil Swainson (bass), Charles Treadway (organ), Brent Mason (guitar), and Wes Little (drums). There are new “smooth jazz” styles (4), which include a RealTracks first: muted trumpet, as well as slick new smooth jazz brushes options for drums. Blues lovers will be thrilled—there are more “classic acoustic blues” styles, including guitar (5), bass (4), and drums (10) with blues master Colin Linden, featuring understated and tasty background acoustic soloing, plus brushes drums and acoustic bass. There are also new electric blues RealTracks, including electric blues with PG favorite Johnny Hiland (3) and soulful electric slide guitar from Colin Linden (4). If you love funk & gospel, there are great new options this year, including gospel organ (3) from Charles Treadway, as well as new funk, tango, and rock ’n’ roll drums (3) and bass (1). And for big, bold arrangements, we have uptempo soul horns (4) featuring a three-part hip horn section with options for a full mix or stems of each individual horn — plus an accompanying rhythm section (4) of drums, bass, guitar, and electric piano!

Rock & Pop (Sets 476–482):
Our new rock & pop RealTracks bring a powerful mix of requested favorites, fresh genres, and modern chart-inspired styles! We have more of our popular “Producer Layered Acoustic Guitars (15)” featuring Band-in-a-Box favorite Brent Mason. We’ve continued our much-requested disco styles (10), and added new Celtic guitar (5) with a more basic, accessible approach than our previous Drop-D or DADGAD offerings. There are also highly requested yacht rock styles (17), inspired by the smooth, polished soft-rock sound of the late ’70s and early ’80s — laid-back grooves, silky electric pianos, warm textures, elegant harmonic movement, and pristine production aesthetics. Fans of heavier styles will love our new glam metal (13), capturing the flashy, high-energy sound of ’80s arena-ready guitar rock. We also have a set of rootsy modern-folk rock (18), with a warm, organic sound combining contemporary folk textures and driving acoustic strumming. And we’ve added lots of new modern pop styles (16) — the kinds of sounds you’re hearing on the radio today, featuring exciting new drums, synths, and cutting-edge RealTracks arrangements.

Country, & Americana (Sets 483–488):
Our new country & Americana RealTracks deliver a rich collection of acoustic, electric, and roots-inspired styles! We have new country pop (9) with legendary guitarist Brent Mason. There is also a potpourri (14) of bouzouki, guitars, banjo, and more, perfect for adding texture and character to contemporary acoustic arrangements. We’ve added funky country guitar (5) with PG favorite Brent Mason, along with classic pedal steel styles (5) featuring steel great Doug Jernigan. There are more country songwriter styles (8) that provide intimate, rootsy foundations for storytelling and modern Americana writing. Finally, we have “background soloing” acoustic guitar (12) with Brent Mason — simpler, but still very tasty acoustic lines designed to sit beautifully behind vocals or act as a subtle standalone solo part.

Check out all the 202 new RealTracks (in sets 468-488)!

And, if you are looking for more, the 2026 49-PAK (for $49) includes an impressive collection of 20 bonus RealTracks, featuring exciting and inspiring additions to add to your RealTracks library. You'll get new country-rhythm guitar styles from PG Music favorites Johnny Hiland and Brent Mason, along with modern-pop grooves that capture today’s radio-ready sound! There are also new indie-folk styles with guitar, bass, 6-string bass used as a high-chording instrument, acoustic guitar, and banjo. Plus, dedicated "cymbal fills" RealDrums provide an added layer that work very well with low-key folky styles with other percussion.

The 2026 49-PAK is loaded with other great new add-ons as well. Learn more about the 2026 49-PAK!
