Forte doesn't "call home" to see if you are authenticated. You just need the appropriate registration code.

First thing to do is to make sure you are running BIAB as an administrator. Then launch the Forte interface. Make sure you are selecting Coyote Forte and not Coyote WT. Once the Forte intervace is up, you should be able to right click on it and select (something like) "Enter Registration Code". I can't remember for sure, but I don't think you can CTRL-Paste it and have to actually type it in.

If that doesn't work, I would probably try to uninstall it first, reboot, then re-install and see if you can enter your registration information (again, run BIAB as an administrator).

I've been installing (and at times uninstalling) Forte since it first came out and have never had a problem (and that's been on WinXP, Vista, Win7, Win8, and Win10.
