Okay, I'm confused; how were you trying to register the software to get that error message, as I've not seen that error message before (and interestingly, they misspelled "Control" in the message)?

It looks like you are okay now, but if you keep having problems or error messages from Forte, you might want to just temporarily turn UAC off completely (click the Start orb, and type UAC in the "Search programs and files" box and you'll see where you can change UAC settings). Changing UAC to never requires a reboot. Then, do what you need to do to authorize the software, and once authorized, you can always set UAC back.
