I'm not sure if this is the correct forum for this post. I came across the Instrumental Studies folder and was very impressed with the demo songs. They look like standard BIAB songs with an added audio track for the artist's instrument.
Is this the case? I see references to these Instrumental Studies in the New Features but there does not seem to be any explanation (perhaps none is needed).
Could anyone help please?

You should also have Artist Performance Sets. http://www.pgmusic.com/forums/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=352456#Post352456The instrumental Studies are songs with artist performances. They are a great way to learn, as they feature common chord progressions in a variety of styles, and include complete and accurate notation and tab.
The one you selected is a solo-accompaniment piano, which is why the other tracks are disabled in the song. The performance is saved on the Melody track (indicated by the orange track colour), and is fully transcribed there. You can enable the other tracks if you wish, by right-clicking on the track and clicking on the menu item "xxxx track is disabled". You could also select a different Style.
The comments for each of the studies are on the Song Memo...
"This instrumental study focuses on solo-accompaniment acoustic piano in the Pop Ballad style. Learning this type of accompaniment is very beneficial and can be applied to many different styles of music. The player uses a simple eighth note rhythm, filling in the eighth note segments in a syncopated fashion, mixing left and right hand playing. You can view the notes on the big piano for a simple and quick way to follow along. This particular song is in the key of F and has frequent chord changes, often occuring every 2 or 4 beats. The chords in the progression are very common in pop music: I, IV, V, and VIm."

Thanks a lot pipeline. I have had BIAB for a while but I'm just exploring some of those other areas and I am very impressed. Although I use Ableton, I find that the BIAB is just great for ideas and backing.
