I would think drums would indeed be easy if they were in a style at a given tempo. Bass, like any instrumental soloist in BIAB, would be a bit harder; it would require multiple takes in varied keys.


Drum solos (easiest because of no harmony) and bass solos are a staple of jazz - and yet BIAB has never offered them despite every other instrument in every jazz style. I've been using BIAB, and an advocate of the program to all my students since it's inception on the Atari in 1990 - yet this omission remains a complete mystery.
