Dimension Pro can be made GM compatible (you have to assign the sounds to the correct channels) however I believe it only can receive on 4 midi channels. Thus you would have to have more than one instant of Dimension Pro to cover more than 4 instruments and having more than one midi port out on BiaB is impossible. RealBand allows more than one midi port so that is a better choice. However I do not know if Dimension Pro and PGMusic’s stuff is compatible. You may want to download the demos and/or google for compatibility information.

Band-in-a-Box 2026 Video: AI Stems & Notes - split polyphonic audio into instruments and transcribe
This video demonstrates how to use the new AI-Notes feature together with the AI-Stems splitter, allowing you to select an audio file and have it separated into individual stems while transcribing each one to its own MIDI track. AI-Notes converts polyphonic audio—either full mixes or individual instruments—into MIDI that you can view in notation or play back instantly.
