The vocals are not too up front for me. It's kind of an Elvis Presley mix and reminds me of an Elvis Presley song as a matter of fact. With that type of song, the vocals can be really up front. I suppose you can pull it back a tad if you wanted to, but you don't have to. I really like this song by the way.
Thanks a bunch, David, I recorded this back in February. Glad you like it ... puts a smile in my face! Your opinions and comments mean a lot to us. If I get "unlazy", I may go back and pull the vocal down just a tad. Thanks again! Best to you. Alan & Di

Loved the mix. Your vocal is setting right where it should. Loved the vocal. I also got the Elvis feel to the tune. Backtrack and sax were very cool... Hi Scott, Thanks for the kind words. So glad you enjoyed it. I debated on the sax ... just a turnaround or a full verse on the instrumental break. I went with the turnaround mostly due to the length of the song. Good song, and mix is perfect for these (63 year old :P) ears.
I like your voice, it has a lot of personality if that makes any sense? Good tone and control, nice vibrato.

As others have mentioned... this is one of your "best ever" vocals - well sung and well recorded. (I thought it could be pulled back just a little).
Very nice arrangement. Really like the use of the sax here...

What a beautiful melancholy song, lovely singing and perfect backing track. Could be an excellent theme song for a movie. Reminds me somehow of Nat King Cole.

Kenny Hi Amigo! Love the Ray price suggestion. He's my all-time favorite singer in any genre. That's quite a nice thing for you to say. After having read your comment,m I went to YouTube and listened to about 12 or 13 of his songs. As far as style, I see some similarities to the stuff he did that Kris Kristoferson wrote ("For The Good Times" and "I Won't Mention It Again" in particular.) I'm flattered ... thank you! His "Danny Boy:" album had a lot if that type of music on it. My all-time favorite album of huis is "Night Life". I used to sit around and listen to it for hours - still know the lyric to almost every song on it! Thanks again. Alan

Your vocal is perfectly fitted to this song.
I like that the song starts from Sub-dominant instead of Tonic.
And I also like the chord progression at "Thought everything was perfect".

This video demonstrates how to use the new AI-Notes feature together with the AI-Stems splitter, allowing you to select an audio file and have it separated into individual stems while transcribing each one to its own MIDI track. AI-Notes converts polyphonic audio—either full mixes or individual instruments—into MIDI that you can view in notation or play back instantly.
