The Greatest Pop Of All This song tells about heartbeat - the life-sustaining force, the greatest pop which is surely the first sound we hear before we are born and which we can hum and enjoy our time of life. The song was originally written in 2009, inspired by the music of Paddy McAloon. The Vocaloid version has been around since then, but finally I can release this with a real singer. Big thanks to Miira for her amazing vocals, especially the heavenly angelic choir she created and lifted the song to even higher level. Once again BIAB provided great instruments for the arrangement, this has quite many MIDI instruments. The guitar solo needed quite much copy-paste before it was good enough. I've been humming the world's simplest pop tune sacredly touching it has made me swoon. God has sown this hymn of the blessed ones let all your prejudices fall find it in your heart there's the greatest pop of all. Sailors adrift on an endless sea mountaineers stuck on the snow top of K2 Divers in the Mariana trench these chords still strike in their hearts. Widows seeking for comfort singles having a broken heart what if they could join their hands lifted by the anthem strong enough to pull the seas apart. [Chorus] Not a praise of the highness but a fanfare for the smallest ones who fumble through thorny lives without sweet solace they deserve to hear this gentle chant of nuns. [Chorus] ------ Janne

Thanks Joe for your nice comment  I'm glad you liked the guitar solo, I had to work hard to get it right - I had to transpose the original song several semitones for Miira's vocal range and I tried Melodyne to transpose the original guitar solo, put it didn't sound good. So I had to build a new solo from several generated sections. Janne

This is so true of a lot of modern pop songs! I remember even during my high school years my thrasher friends would be singing the pop songs from the radio almost compulsively. There's some unknown power in pop songs that we all succumb to at some point in our lives, no matter your genre preference. At least that's my belief!
