What a great listen!
Since everyone is playing the "sounds like game" on this one... I'd have to say Warren Zevon. Dripping Zevon, in fact... both the write and the production (and vocal).
Dig that snare. Awesome solos! (Dig the delays).
Nice ooohs! Cool beatlesque bridge...
The effect on the outro lyric is very cool!
A lot of "cool" went into this (and a lot of work, I imagine). Excellent mix - nice loud.

Hi Floyd. To do the last bit first - glad you turned it up! It needs VOLUME. Hey, Warren Zevon - brilliant. My favourite of his has to be "Lawyers, Guns and Money", though I like all his rockier stuff. Thrilled that you made that link. Glad you liked the "Phil Collins" snare - straight out of the 80s! The outro is my old Syntovox again. I know it's going to pack up one day, so I feel the need to keep using it whilst I can. "Cool" is very acceptable - many thanks for that and the kind review.
