Hi experts!
The default setting when starting a new song is 3 choruses and song end at bar 32. As I usually don´t work with repetitions, I use a song form with just one chorus end therefore I start putting the end at bar 100 or so...
Is it possible to store these settings as DEFAULT"?

As a solution, RB handled it by simply loading a file named $OPTIONS.SEQ as a new file default.
Maybe BiaB could borrow this simple concept.
Then we could save an $Options.sgu file and have it be our default setup when we click File - New.
I do not work here, but the benefits are still awesome

For years I've been doing it this way.
Start with a "blank canvas" and set it up as I usually would, i.e. correct panning, volumes, number of bars (I use 200) and number of choruses (I use 1). I usually set the volumes to 90 & the tempo to 120.
I then save it as "000A Setup" so that it appears at the top of my song list when I open it.
When I'm ready to start on a new song, I open the file, add the song title and save it with the correct name.
From there I continue with the arrangement.

I then save it as "000A Setup" so that it appears at the top of my song list when I open it. I've done a similar workaround in the past, but I write-protect the file. That way I'm forced to do a "save-as" and not inadvertently overwrite my "template". That also lets you double click on the file from Windows Explorer and automatically load it. However, a better solution would be to allow saving various selectable configurations, with one of them specified as the default (that you can change).
