This song feels very profound to me, like the experience is lived. I also like that the lyrics are asking for them to come clean about whatever it is that they've been hiding, but the person telling the story already seems to have found their peace. Like they've accepted the situation for what it is, and knows they will have a future outside of them. This is further emphasized by the more up-beat sound to the song, despite certain lines being more "sad" in their wording.
