Nice one, Michee! Way to go!

IMHO, you could bring the vocals forward a bit and bring them up in the mix.

Rocks along nicely. It would be nice if you listed the style, the BIAB instruments used (and the "real" ones too!).

Good one,

Kevin

Hi WienSam, Thanks for your kind comments.

Hi Kemmrich, Here is the song summary

****** Song Summary *************
Title: Oh My Baby
File:Oh My Baby.SGU
Key=Em , Tempo 155, Length (m:s)=2:59
4 bar intro, 36 bar chorus, from bar 5 to bar 40. Repeat x3 choruses
No Melody
No Soloist track.
Song is saved with Volume, Pan, Reverb, Chorus, Bank0,
Soloist is saved with the song : ROCK: Stones Jam 8ths (191)
Style is BRITROK8.STY (Brit 60's Gritty R&R)
Style MIDI Instruments are : Acoustic String Bass (33), Muted Electric Guit (29), Nylon String Guitar (25), Strings (49),
MIDI Drums :17 Power Drums (17)

I used a Korg Triton Keyboard for the Midi Instruments.
I used a Roland VG-88 to get the Guitar sound that I thought matched.
I think I changed the strings for a Guitar (but can't remember which one I chose).

Regards
Michee

Hey Michee,
I really enjoyed that. REALLY enjoyed to the extent that I cannot get the flipping tune outa my head.
I wish I could do stuff like that without getting carried away and ending up with complicated weirdness.

Well done mate. Excellent.

Most excellent Michee.

Personally I wouldn’t change a thing.

This is a keeper.

Hi Sundance, Thanks for the nice comments. I have heard that I sound like Orbison - Maybe Jack Orbison the guy who lives down the road.

Hi gibson, Thank you for your nice comments. I know you can write great songs - I have heard them - just keep writing.

Hi MarioD, Thank you for your nice comments.

I thank you all.

Regards
Michee

Wonderful sounding performance and very nice job on production. I think someone said it above but I will again, it really has that Orbison feel to it.

Nice Job!

Excellent work Michee particularly the guitar work. Reminds me a little of Del Shannons songs too.

Good work Mate. I liked all aspects of the song. I agree you could compress your vox a tad. Set compressor for gentle leveling. Should make it perfect. But if you don't it won't matter all that much. This is top dollar work. Rock on Mate.

Great Rock song. Nice job of mixing the tracks , vocals etc. You got a full sound and the
level was up but not too loud. The guitar parts fit in perfectly. I don't think you sound like
Orbison, but who really does. but the singing was excellent. I wish it was easier to program
endings on the real tracks they usually seem kinda abrupt.

Good job George.

I love the "tag" you are using for your post's.

Tell me and I'll forget
Show me and I'll remember
Involve me and I'll understand

Is that original or did you pick it up from another source?

I googled it. It's a Chinese proverb. I like it.
