BIAB2017
First experience with Realdrums (no Realtracks for the moment): The drum is not synchronized with the other tracks.
What can I do?

I've never heard of this before.

Some questions that spring to mind...

Are any of your tracks frozen and then the tempo was changed after freezing?

Did you regenerate the complete song after loading the Realdrums?

Lastly, have you tried creating a new song file ("File | New") to see if the problem persists with new material?

As suggested in your other thread; set the Sync Source to Internal...
Otherwise make sure Tempo is correct

I do not work here, but the benefits are still awesome

In Biab I changed the tracks Drum and Bass Acoustic.
If I play in Biab I feel the tracks that are not synchronized.
It is the melody track that is not synchronized.
This problem is not where I open Realband and play the song in Realband.
Did I just have to work with Realband?

In your original post, you said the drums were not synchronized with the other tracks. But then said it was just the melody track. That leads me to wonder if you aren't experiencing latency issues with the melody track. Is it a track you recorded yourself, or was it a MIDI import, or did you enter the notation? You may be experiencing some latency with your MIDI sound module. Are you using MME or ASIO drivers? What MIDI driver/sound source are you using?

Hello jford,
The song I was experiencing with Realband is a normal standard jazz song downloaded with all MIDI tracks and I wanted to change some MIDI tracks to Realtracks.

my "sound" environment is:

Virtualmidisynt freeware
Vrtualmidisynth

I installed the freeware sound font bank SGM-V2.01
V2.01.7z ]Sound font installed[/url] http://www.mediafire.com/file/zo8l3dgf2989266/SGM-V2.01.7z

A friend then made me buy this but I do not know what he needs ah ah. Is useful?
What is it for? He stayed there without even using it

First of all, the device is just an external audio interface (rather than using your internal sound card). You can connect it to your computer via USB and it will give you two audio inputs and two audio outputs (2 mono or 1 stereo). Most laptop computers don't come with line-in inputs anymore, so that forces you to an external audio interface. The good news is the one you have has built in pre-amps for you microphone, and also supports instrument and line-level input. But if you don't use a microphone or need to record your instrument, it's probably not going to do much for you. But if you do, you'll get much better sound. You would also need to have a set of speakers to connect to the output (or you could just use headphones).

It sounds like you are getting some latency with your MIDI synth. I've used the VirtualMIDISynth (which gets presented to your computer as a virtual hardware type external synth, but is implemented in software on the computer). I've not used it enough with combined MIDI and audio to test if there is latency.

However, on the MIDI/Audio driver setup screen in BIAB, there is a button for latency adjust. You can click on this, and it will play audio and midi concurrently to let you line up the timing of audio and MIDI. I would try this using your VirtualMIDISynth setup and see if that brings things back in line.

any time you mix midi and real tracks (wave files) in a project, you must have an interface or soundcard that can handle the task. Midi requires more processing of the data into sound whereas the waves are ready to go as is with very little processing, other than D-A conversion.

You first stated that the real track drums were out of sync, then perhaps the melody was out. Perhaps both since they are/might be, waves in the midi project.

The mysterious object you referred to is an interface. It is extremely useful in recording and playback..... but be sure you have a decent one. Be sure it can run ASIO drivers. If not, return it and get one that will support ASIO. Install and use the latest ASIO driver. ASIO can handle the midi and audio together and keep the tracks in sync. It's what I use with a Focusrite Interface and everything stays in sync perfectly.

Hope this helps.
