Thanks, I'll check out KaraFun and see about converting the cdg files.

I use an external USB MIDI synth module and a couple of years ago when I tried RB via Wine under Linux I had some issues with getting the USB module to work. But I haven't revisited it, so it may be worth doing that as well. Not that it would resolve the cdg file issue of course:)

But if I can get BIAB and RB working good enough under Linux I would ditch Windoze in a heartbeat. Win 10 was so bad on my wife's HP desktop that I moved her over to Linux Mint and she loves it. Very fast, updates with Linux are also very fast, rarely do you have to reboot with a Linux update. Linux updates not only the OS but applications you have installed too. None of the don't turn your computer off, preparing updates, rot and then the same thing on start up from a Windoze update.

Off to check KaraFun and a test of RB running on Linux to see if my USB issues have been resolved.
