This is my first post. Despite the title, this is an up-beat southern gospel style song  . https://soundcloud.com/paul-ferguson-996178820/one-foot-in-the-grave-demo-1 Everything on it is BIAB except the vocal done on my BR800. for the vocal, I reduced the reverb, then used the soft compression mastering algorithm. any constructive advice would be appreciated. ****** Song Summary ************* Title: One Foot In The Grave File:One Foot In The Grave.SGU Key=D , Tempo 170, Length (m:s)=2:28 4 bar intro, 98 bar chorus, from bar 5 to bar 102. Repeat x1 chorus No Melody Soloist track has 67 notes, Soloist harmony is < no harmony >(0) Song is saved with Volume, Pan, Reverb,

This is an excellent first post!
A great track with an easy rolling feel to it. It's got a sort of live feel to it as well, as though I was watching a performance on the old Johnny Cash TV Show. Nice backing, super vocal style.
Yeah, loved everything about it and wouldn't change a thing.

Thanks for your compliments on the song. As for Summer chaser, the song has been really well executed. A very nice balance between rock/ballad and blues feel. Have you pitched it to anyone or is it more of a "My song"?
