Robert Fripp is no slouch either! No he isn't. I was 20' from stage at a King Crimson show about 35 years ago. It was actually an intimate bar setting; 300 max each party with a round table. Not a concert situation at all, much more intimate. Belew, Fripp, Bruford and Levin. In their prime. Every one of them was/is amazing. As a group even more so. Something to aim for. It wasn't until recently that I learned that Fripp was the one who organized and funded the tour. Class act. Would I like to meet Fripp too? Absolutely .. but he resides on the other side of the pond. Belew is much more accessible. Dang near local in comparison (sometimes). For Scott (RockStarNot) it was Harpos, front tables. Mt Clemens area. Scott lived here back in the day, may be able to relate to the setting.
