The only addition to the style was the RT Mandolin and my Telecaster for fills. BIAB tracks were exported to Reaper for vocals, guitar, and final mixing. Is there a way to find out when exactly I got it? I remember installing it one afternoon (from floppies) and staying up til 2am playing with it. I'm still amazed. The fine vocal really carries this production...the laid back feel of it works really well with the lyric and melody. "Laid back" can often, in our book, kill a song but when it's pulled off like this it can really work. There's just the right amount of road weariness in the lyric, arrangement and vocal to give a very authentic feel to the story. Everybody in the band (RT's and you) are hittin' the note. Enjoyed it. Band-in-a-Box 2026 Video: AI Stems & Notes - split polyphonic audio into instruments and transcribe

This video demonstrates how to use the new AI-Notes feature together with the AI-Stems splitter, allowing you to select an audio file and have it separated into individual stems while transcribing each one to its own MIDI track. AI-Notes converts polyphonic audio—either full mixes or individual instruments—into MIDI that you can view in notation or play back instantly.
