I hated to see this turn into thread trashing a beautiful, talented young woman.

She's earned what she's gotten. I saw an interview with her a year or two ago and she talked about being a young girl with her mother driving her around Nashville and she was dropping off demos of her songs to studios and saying "call me". She was only 12 or 13 at the time. It's paid off for her.

She didn't come up through playing at bars and I'm sure that's contributed to the "innocence" in her songs.

Kids today could do a lot worse in finding a role model. Find what you want to do and go for it! It worked for her.
