This has totally sidetracked my music stuff as new hobbies tend to do. I guess the next step is for me to start using BIAB generated music for my videos. For this one I just grabbed a non-copyrighted music bed from the YouTube site.

One thing I noticed during the eclipse: the sun that normally creeps through a leafy canopy and shows up on the ground as circles of sunlight between the shadows of leaves... those spots of light were crescent-shaped, to the same extent as the sun was covered.

Hey Don, when just hovering like I did, the battery can last up to a half hour so I made sure I launched about 10-15 minutes before the full eclipse. If I'm running the drone fast, like 25 mph, the battery lasts about 15-20 minutes.
Great footage. I've had a drone for several years but it did not occur to me to film during the eclipse. Where I live was quite close to the complete eclipse swath that crossed South Carolina.
