Hey folks ... looking for recommendation for USB Audio Interface for BIAB/RB. I have been using M-Audio Fast Track Pro, but they no longer support it so no updates, drivers, etc... Suggestions appreciated (my pockets are not deep). Thanks

New PC is Win 10,8GB Ram, ADM 10 processor. I require minimal in/outs, (singer/songwriter who plays acoustic guitar). I do however have older tracks that were built in MME and need ability to work in both MME & ASIO formats. Thanks

Focusrite would be my suggestion, but I'd also suggest you get one step up from what you think you need.
There is a (limited) 2 in / 2 out version, but it lacks the Focusrite mixer applet. You don't know you need it until you need it .. then it's too late. Just my 2 cents. I wish I'd have gone a step up on that unit now.
FWIW, I can still run the M-Audio Delta cards on various machines with various OS (Delta is much older than FastTrack), so don't assume just because they say it isn't supported, that it doesn't work. I'd try it and make sure there is an issue before moving on. You may need to re-install the FastTrack drivers, or 'run as Administrator', or even run in compatibility mode .. but you may be able to run it still. Just a thought.
The Focusrite devices are nice and reliable though if you do need to upgrade. Sometimes the upgrade is worth the price just to lose the headaches.
I do not work here, but the benefits are still awesome Make your sound your own!

what rharv said : try your old HW FIRST
There were rumors flying left and right how Win 10 wouldn't have Firewire (IEEE 1394) support, surprise; yes it does.
I'm still using an M-Audio FW-410 with "old" Win 7 drivers that haven't been updated since well BEFORE Win 10 was even out for public beta (last driver update was in 2010) - it runs just fine in Win 10 Pro 64 , as well as Win 7 Pro 64 and Win XP 32.

In the interim, you should know that my Fast Track Pro works just fine on my Windows 10 machine. Even though there will not be updated drivers, the most recent driver works fine. I've run Kontakt, Sonar, PGMusic products, Steinberg products, and more through my Fast Track Pro on Windows 10 with no problems to date.

FWIW, we are quite pleased with our Focusrite Scarlett 212. Does the job and reasonably priced. Mac or PC as with most modern interfaces.

I'm using the Focusrite 2i4 here, great little unit! Mine is the first generation, the new ones are even better for latency although that has never been an issue for me.

Mac or PC as with most modern interfaces. ..until you need to control the panning of the L/R side of the units inputs. There are workarounds, but having the software mixer that is available in the 'next step up' units sure would be nice. Yes, I agree; the preamps and the unit itself are well worth the price; good recording signal/convertors .. it's just that once you hit a situation that the unit can't solve (and every other unit above it from the same manufacturer can) you quickly realize where the savings came from. May be fine for many users, for me it caused a little disgruntlement a couple times. (is disgruntlement a word?)

........ I do however have older tracks that were built in MME and need ability to work in both MME & ASIO formats. Thanks This is not an issue. MME and ASIO are drivers that run the soundcard and do not have any requirements that a new interface run the same driver to play back a track. Regardless of the driver used to record something in the past, any driver that runs your hardware now will give you playback. I always recommend using ASIO if the hardware supports it. As someone else said.... try the old hardware on the new computer. It's generally not the hardware that has issues with a new OS, it's the drivers. So if ASIO runs the hardware and the OS is cool with ASIO, it should work just fine. I had a soundcard that ran some drivers for W-95... very old stuff. When MS came out with their new OS, the sound card mfg decided not to update or write drivers that were compatible with the new OS. So in that circumstance, yes, I did have to buy new hardware. My current interface, a Focusrite Saffire has migrated through several computers and several different OS's without any problems. So, give the old one a try, and run ASIO if at all possible.

As others mentioned - Focusrite is a fantastic. The Focusrite Scarlett 2i4 both affordable, and works beautifully. Definitely has my cosign

Agree Focusrite is a little beauty. However I had to upgrade a while back when I discovered that it wasn't delivering enough phantom power to my mic and I needed an interface with its own power supply. (The problem is unique to my mic, not Focusrite.) I bought a second hand UAD Apollo Twin and I have to say it has rocked my world. Here's why:
1. Audio digital conversion blah blah is angelic (like the Focusrite) 2. Great bundle of UAD plugins, including Softube guitar and bass amps 3. Effectively 0 latency due to the unit itself driving UAD plugins, not the DAW (means I can turn software monitoring off altogether when recording) 4. Unison technology. This one is hard to explain but is the best feature. It means enabled plugins respond very much like hardware equivalents through impedance matching etc. I'm no tech head but a Unison guitar amp really feels like a guitar amp now. There's no way I'm imagining this. 5. It comes with a Unison enabled valve mic pre amp plugin that has given my mid priced accurate but unexciting condensor mic mojo to burn. 6. Console software makes it easy to save my favourite setups for recording. I can also route things for proper head phone mixes etc.
It is a bit more expensive than the Focusrite but the older model (which I have) is still being sold.

I have not used but have been window shopping AIs for some time and have heard very mixed opinions on FocusRite (also keep in mind the 2i2 does not have MIDI, although it sounds like that's not an issue).
My short list, based on a combination of specs, reviews, and what I'm hearing from users is:
Steinberg UR22 Behringer Uphoria 204 M Audio M Track 2x2M Roland Rubix
All in roughly the $100-150 ballpark FYI.
