Hopefully someone can describe the best way to use BIAB to learn more about chord substitution. But a more "watered down" version than sophisticated jazz techniques. I play banjo, fiddle, and guitar. Add a little more variety to rhythm and melodic patterns will provide variety and make things sound more interesting.
