I use BIAB in live performances both the actual program (both Mac and PC) and audio files exported as backing tracks. I use PC when I want/need to use Conductor (i.e., have a guest vocalist for transposition) or when I want/need to use my iPad to control BIAB and use Mac version when it's just me and I don't need my iPad to control.

I would love BIAB to incorporate Ableton Link. Since BIAB is measure centric, I think it would be an ideal match for Ableton Link capable software and apps.

I recently started experimenting with Studiomux (great cross platform server/client app by the way), iOS apps (with Ableton Link capability), Mainstage 3 (own Brainspawn Forte so will try incorporating it just to see how well it works) and Ableton Live and it is a lot of fun in a live situation. What's missing for me is incorporating BIAB and all the great RealTracks. I know there is definitely overlap between what BIAB does and what Ableton Live does, but there are just things BIAB does that Ableton can't, period.

When I do a jazz/blues/rock set, it's BIAB alone (nothing better for me IMO). But when I then do a dance set, I am starting to use the setup above. I would love to incorporate BIAB in the dance set but currently can't. So that's my wish.
