Which version of BIAB are you using?

I remember this used to be a requirement, but I thought they had fixed it. That being said, just install the Coyote WT that comes with BIAB and you'll have a DX synth. I think it has to do with the way the audio gets rendered, whether from MIDI or from RealTracks. You should report it to PGMusic, but in the interim, you should be able to install the Coyote WT (although, I wonder if the problem is related to the problems you have been having with the TTS-1, also a DXi synth).
