Playing around with Real Tracks trying to get a vintage jazzy blues sound on this classic song. I can play this one on the guitar but it's a bear keeping up with the chord changes. For some reason the Trombone hit the spot. Besides it ain't nobody's business if I do - but I hope you like it.  Song page: http://soundclick.com/share?songid=8374682

I think it would work better as an insturmental-there seems to be too much going on. Just my opinion. Good song though.

Gosh, Ed it looks like you're the only one who said that!  --- so far. Maybe I should have pulled the trombone all the way out during the singing parts, or visa versa? It was supposed to have sort of a dixieland jazz kind a feel. But with what I know about that kind of music I probably got it bass ackwards 'cause I'm uncking fun qualified in that genre.

Have the trombone sit out while you are singing. Its too busy if you are both going at the same time. Have the guitar play straight four-to-the-bar during vocals, for the same reason.

Pete,
I always liked this tune with more of a slow R&B feel to it, i.e. BB King. Now that is just my taste as they say others will indeed vary. In fact I did a recording for my site a few years ago using some BB King style. But again that is just me. With that said my feelings is that besides being too busy as others have said I would like to hear a version from you in a slower down and dirty delta blues.
