The answer is, yes, but...

You have to start a song with a 4/4 style, then switch to a 3/4 style. I usually just mute the first bar, then set the 3/4 style in bar 2, then later switch back to a 4/4 style. If it has to repeat, you can always define your "chorus" as starting at bar 2.

However, if you start with a 3/4 style, BIAB will never get to 4/4, even if you change styles (everything will be stuck at 3/4).

This has been a requested wishlist for a long time, but for now the workaround does work. I think you have to establish the maximum number of beats at the beginning of the song (four in this case), and then throughout the song, you can change to styles with four or fewer beats.

I hope this made sense.

Maybe one day they'll fix this.
