MetalHead ( Lyrics and Vocals by David Snyder )

Yes, David Snyder & LazyPianoMan
have made their first collaboration!

This random collaboration will go down in PG-Music history as a heavy metal blooper.... but a good one lol smile

Metalhead

Lyrics and Vocals by David Snyder

V1

Yeah they call me Metalhead
And I’m walking with the dead
Been a thousand years
Since I been to bed
And they call me Metalhead

CH

I could eat the living
But I’d rather feast
On rotting flesh instead
Yeah, they call me Metalhead

V2

They call me the Prince of Doom
I have Metallica
On a poster in my room
The blackest black apocalypse
Is coming, is coming soon

CH

And there’s darkness
And death before the gloom
Yeah
And I’m digging, digging my own grave
I am the only soul you’ll never save

And I’m dancing with the dead
And they call me
They call me Metalhead

V3

Black Sabbath
Alice Cooper
Motley Crue
Like a snake
Don’t have no shoes
And I am black and I am blue
Meet me tonight
I will chew on you
Until you’re dead
It’s what I said

CH
They call me Metalhead,
Yeah
I will eat
Your mortal soul
Yeah
I’m under your bed
Don’t look now, it’s Metal Head

Doesn't sound a thing like Alan Jackson - oh wait - wrong song!

Very interesting, for sure. Not my favorite flavor, but well done! There's a lot of creativity here. It's obvious a lot of time and effort went into this. The various effects throughout are pretty cool!

And David, this right down your alley! You excel at this genre. Kudos to both of you.

Alan

Wow what a changeup. Guitar was very cool. Super vocal. Put on my black tshirt and had my head banging to the beat. Well done..

Ok, I`m awake now!
A weekend production? It would take me a month to come up with a track like this... but maybe I missed something, like your original backtrack.
Anyhoo this is fun though I just don`t have the guts to really crank it as it deserves.
Love that machine gun guitar? part and the gravel in your zombie vocal,David.

I didn't think of more delay on vocals Rob4580
I do have the project on my google drive if anyone
wants to play with the song.

well Robertkc David did his vocals and lyrics in a day
I put together my song in 2 days, the 3rd day was reworking the drums
and fine tuning...

thanks floyd jane smile

thank again Scott C

Kudos to both of you... Al-David
I'm sure our main artist will show up soon.
I was very surprised, how quickly David put
lyrics & vocals to this song.

Hello, LPman

Great collaboration with David Snyder!
I was very surprised with this tune!
You have not only jazz talent but also heavy metal talent.
Coexistence is a really surprise.
I also give unstinted praise to David's talent to do anything.
Just like Alan I have no knowledge of this type of music.
However, I enjoyed this with great interest.

Best regards.

Hey thanks everybody for all the kind words.

This was really Lazy Piano man's song, I just had fun with it. From the moment I heard the original bed (his first version) I was like "Oh yeah..I have been wanting to do this since high school!!"

I think the lyrics actually came out exactly as they were in the second listen, and I only did one take because that kind of singing will kill your throat.

When I saw the Metal-Head picture with the soup can head I nearly lost it. I was laughing so hard I couldn't breathe. This was A LOT of fun.

Thanks Lazy Piano man!!!!

In deference to you two guys we've finally listened to a metal song all the way through smile Well at least the first one in decades.

And it was a helluva lot of fun. Would love to see the BiaB RT's/RD's listed.

The production sounds great on the KRK's. In your face, yeah, but still a tiny bit of room to breathe.

Kudos!!

twenty years ago I found myself dancing with a girl at a wedding
to a song called "Macarena." Everyone spells it their own way...
Anyways I told myself I would not be caught dead dancing to this "Macarena." song....... but she was very inviting & would refuse to believe she was half my age! So now I remember the "Macarena." in a whole new light.

thanks for posting Janice & Bud

well David I think it is best to say that we all signed a confidential document... it is not even close to the truth, but I think it's best to say.....

Tip: 0ne should learn who one is Dancing with in,the ranks of a new family..... luckily someone knew me and rescued me from the situation.. . but I will never forget how she made me feel 20 again at the age of 40... now it's 60 I wonder what happened to her

Cool collab!! David is all over the map, and in cases like this, maybe off the map, but in a good way. Definitely an enjoyable journey to an alternative universe. Well done!! Take care. Greg

Definitely need more metal heads on Band-in-a-Box.

Great sounding track, reminds me of some old southern style metal. Amazing work on the guitar parts.

Keep them coming, these are my kinds of jams!
