Hola:

Soy nuevo en el foro. Llevo unos dias usando BB y tengo un pequeño problema.

Cuando importo a Garageband un archivo MIDI de varias pistas hecho con Band in a Box, me ocurre que una vez me aparecen todas las pistas por separado en GB, no me deja manipular el volumen y el panorama de cada pista.
aparecen bloqueadas estas opciones.

¿Sabéis a que puede ser debido y como solucionarlo?.

Hola 400golpes, bienvenido al foro. Lo que te sucede es muy facil de resolver. Cuando Band-in-a-Box exporta una canción en formato MIDI lo hace de acuerdo al estandard General MIDI, es decir, incluyendo en el archivo la información relativa a controladores y cambios de programa, tales como el volumen, reverberación, chorus y panorama para cada pista y su canal MIDI correspondiente. Cuando el archivo MIDI es cargado en tu Garage Band o cualquier otro programa, dichos controladores enviarán datos cada vez que uses el STOP o el PLAY o cada vez que aparezcan durante la ejecución, reiniciando de este modo cualquier manipulación personalizada del usuario sobre dichos parámetros. Esta información MIDI puede ser configurada en BIAB por el usuario antes de exportar finalmente el archivo. Me parece que tienes la versión en inglés de BIAB por lo que debes entrar en el menú (F6):

FILE/Make a Standard MIDI File/Options ,

en español:

Archivo/Crear Archivo MIDI Estándard/Opciones
Aquí encontrarás una serie de parámetros que permiten configurar toda la información que contendrá el archivo MIDI el cual será importado por tu secuenciador. El que nos interesa en tu caso es:

Include Volume/Reverb/Chorus/Panning el cual está activado por defecto y deberás apagarlo para que el archivo MIDI no contenga dichos datos y puedas controlar el volumen y panorama a tu gusto. También existe la posibilidad de borrar o filtrar la entrada de dichos controladares ya en el secuenciador, lo cual sería la única opción en caso de que el usuario no tenga Band-in-a-Box y haya recibido la canción en formato MIDI de terceros, pero es mucho más fácil hacerlo en BIAB directamente.

Hola, tengo la versión para Mac y en "File" no me aparece la opción "Make a Standard MIDI File".

Pulsando F6 se ofrece guardar el archivo MIDI pero no sale el menú que me pones.

¿Como accedo a ese menú con mi versión 2009.5 para Mac?

Hola, las versiones de Windows y Mac son un poco diferentres en algunos detalles, es dificil tener un record de todo, sin embargo hice la consulta directamente con los usuarios de Mac en el foro y ciertamente como dices tal parece que la opción "Make a Standard MIDI File" no se accede en ese menu, sin embargo puedes hacer lo siguiente: antes de usar "Save Standard Midi File" ve a "Preferences" (command, coma), marca y desmarca las opciones de filtros que encontrarás allí, por ejemplo, por ejemplo desmarcando "Include Patch Changes in Midi Files" se filtrarán los cambios de programa en la canción MIDI. Suerte y cuentanos si pudiste solucionar el problema .
