Sorry, but they are sold as two different products. You can cross grade from one to the other, but I believe if you do that, you lose the license for the former. But you won't be able to download the Mac version to use.

It will take an hour or so to do, but if you or your son has an old copy of, say Windows XP, you can always create a virtual machine on the Mac using something like VirtualBox (which is free) and you can then install your Windows BIAB in the virtual machine.

I also think that Pipeline may have tried it with Wine (and other Win emulation tools), so that's a possibility also; however, it will probably take a fair amount of tweaking to get running well.

But there are options.
