All good information thus far.

Are you using Roland ASIO drivers or Win 10 drivers for your Quad Capture? I had distortion with my Roland Octa-Capture ASIO drivers but after I switched to Win 10 drivers for it all was good.

Also check in the device manager to see if your mother board audio interface is active. I had to disable my mother board Realtek audio drivers as they were interfering with my Octa-Capture. Be aware that some Win 10 updates turns them back on so you have to look after each Win 10 update.

Also check your gain levels. Sending a very hot (high volume) signal to any audio interface can cause distortion. As you probably already know you have to watch gain staging very carefully.

I hope this helps.

The fitness trainer asked me, "What kind of a squat are you accustomed to doing?" I said, "Diddly."
