On the Windows side of BIAB 2017, has anyone noticed any changes in performance after upgrading to Build 468? I’ve noticed a much slower opening of the picker dialog window of both the real tracks and real drums icon----the real drums dialog being much slower of the two. They still work, with a little more wait time involved. The styles picker is fast, like always. No changes in settings have been made except for the latest upgrade. Just inquiring.

PG Support told me to re-install update 467 until they can get some bugs out of 468. I called this afternoon (EST) to report that my BIAB refused to open since I had installed 468. I'm running PC Windows 7.
I re-installed Update 467 and BIAB is opening and running fine again.

I just checked, and 468 is still there to download as of 4 hours after your post. I compared it to the prior version I had downloaded, and the file sizes are the same.

Hi Matt. How odd. If I go to the Support header, then Windows Software Updates, the link for 468 is Live but if I click on it it takes me to the Build listings of which 467 is the top one. As it happens, 468 seemed to work OK for me - for what I do anyway - but I've gone back to 467 just in case.

Tried it on windows 10 64bit, seems stable, made a new style from a MIDI file recently, turned out quite useable. .... Though i haven't been using BIAB a lot lately, so loading delays i cannot confirm; i am curious, and 467 seemed OK for me ... F
468 is still available as the first item at the top of this forum (biab for Windows) This is the normal place for new builds before they move into the main downloads after a while testing . Normally it says considered a beta

Absolutely true, Mike. It takes you straight to it and auto downloads 468. It does not say its a Beta this time. However, the note I posted as above still remains true. It's gone from the Support page menu. Just me being a Pedant. Ian

Probably a good idea to re-install 467 and RB 8. RB wont even start on my machine after being sort of fine. Very unlike and unprofessional of PG Music to reamin silent and let customers sort the issues out.
