This song was written on BB, changing chord patterns around till I was happy with it. The inspiration was from Flock of Seagulls, but it progressed way beyond that. I had a vision of a flash mob bopping to this chanting " I am the deep state"... funny & a little disturbibg at the same time!
The synth over that driving beat really carries this and the whole track is well produced. You have recreated the 80`s sound to a T.
I`m off to listen to some UltraVox now.

Good job on this - this is very idealistically different than what I typically hear come out of Band-in-a-Box, both musically and lyrically. It's very creative indeed, and I can absolutely hear that Flock of Seagulls influence coming through. Thanks for sharing

I love the creativity with this song! Like Deryk said, it's not the kind of sound I am used to hearing from Band-in-a-Box, but I really dig it! Crazy what you can do with Band-in-a-Box!

I am using BB more and more to write songs, locking down the music first and then working on the lyrics. I don't know if you intended BB to be a songwriting tool, but I find it much easier to experiment with chord progressions than to pick it out on a guitar or keyboard. I can use chords that I don't know how to play myself.
