hallo ihr Lieben
ich habe öfters den Hör-Eindruck, als ob in einigen Styles manche Instrumente (bes. Drums und Bass) ziemlich stark komprimiert sind.
Es klingt dann einfach nicht "real", wenn nach jedem betontem Taktschlag (meist Taktschlag 1 und 3) ein Dynamik-Kompressor die Lautstärke kurzzeitig absenkt.
(Ok, es gibt ja Disco-Nummern wo dieser "Pumpeffekt" anscheinend gewollt ist.)
Dagegen gibts in Endtakten oft den gegenteiligen Effekt, dass ein Instrument beim Ausklingen immer lauter wird.
Ich hatte schon meine Soundkarte in Verdacht, aber hier ist keine Kompression eingeschaltet.
Habe ich ein "Häkchen" übersehen?
Höre ich schon das Gras wachsen?
Ist das anderen auch schon aufgefallen?

Mitunter scheint es hier wirklich sehr lange zu dauern, ehe man eine Antwort bekommt :-( Ist mir auch so gegangen, bis ich mir schlussenlich nach langem Tüfteln selbst eine Antwort geben konnte....
Hinsichtlich Deines Hörerlebnisses: mir ist die Kompression noch nicht aufgefallen, habe BiaB allerdings noch nicht sehr lange. Sollte ich diese Beobachtung auch machen, melde ich mich noch einmal.

Hallo Günter,
das deutsche BiaB-Forum ist in der Tat nicht so frequentiert besucht, wie das englische, und es gibt hier auch keinen Support vom PG Music Team direkt, es geht hier nur von User zu User.
Technische Fragen und Probleme werden aber im englischen BiaB-Forumsbereich in aller Regel sehr rasch gelesen, bearbeitet und beantwortet, vom Support und auch von anderen Usern. Es ist also immer ein guter Weg, technische Fragen auch dort noch mal "loszuwerden".
Wie hast du dir denn die Frage nach dem "Kompressor-Sound" beantwortet, das ist ja vielleicht auch für andere user interessant. Es gibt von Biab übrigens auch eine HighRes-Version, die alle Realtracks hochauflösend und unkomprimiert bereitstellt.

Hallo Bernhard, diese Kompressor-Geschichte ist mir noch nicht aufgefallen, wollte da nur ein Feedback geben.
Mein Problem war, dass RealBand, das bei mir recht häufig abstürzt, nach einem Absturz den Asio-Treiber nicht mehr gefunden hat. War aber wohl eine Fehlbedienung von mir (nicht die Abstürze, sondern die Sache mit dem Asio-Treiber). Ebenso wie die Sache mit dem Asiotreiber bei BiaB (die Frage habe ich unter "Latenzprobleme" gestellt). War eine stunden/tagelange Sucherei, hat aber schlussenldich geklappt. Mit einem kleinen Hinweis wäre mir da wohl geholfen gewesen.
