Jack, Unless there's something that I'm not understanding properly, presumably if you double the tempo of the melody, you'll also need to double the tempo of the chord changes to keep everything aligned harmonically. Have you played around with "Edit | Song Form | Reduce Chord Durations by 1/2" ? This setting also affects the melody. Regards, Noel Nope, the style would fit the imported MIDI file for the melody only if the melody (itself only) plays twice as fast, hence the question .... thnx Jack
