Wow, Graham, you are making it hard on me here! First of all, a beautiful tune. As always, your accordion sounds great (and wonderfully played).
Nowadays, I am more a keyboardists, but my earlier music career, violin was my main instrument. So my verdict is...
Both of them are my favorites! Not a cop-out, I just think they both sound good, and neither of them jump out to me as not as good, or appropriate to the arrangement as the other. The organ does sound a little more "real" than the strings do, but the strings do sound great on this arrangement.

Thanks a million Steve, The accordion is from 1983 I think. Used to have midi but the main board fried in it, so it's just a stright accordion now. I tend to use my Scandalli now as it's 1/2 the weight and has a sweeter tone
