I guess I'm asking the impossible.  Maybe? Actually Jazz guitar is my initially studied instrument. Maybe as a result I don't try to look for sound samples or VSTs to emulate the sound based on midi. The real-tracks, as recordings, are as good as I have found, in terms of phrasing and tone, to supplement my recording. For the past couple years, my blind ambition has been and is, piano. Here we have both the real tracks and real-midi tracts from PG. On top of that there is a world of great midi sound available to us. Don't know if that helps, but at least you know that others understand your quest.
