Dear Ms. Amaya...
Listening to your song "Only God Knows" was an experience as deep and still as gazing into the depths of a stream. Your lyric writing is powerfully evocative, so much so that I felt as though I was living someone else's life as the words entered my mind, penetrated my heart and passed through my soul through your singing.
The music definitely had the lonely, weary, sundown character of a "prayer for the hopeless" that was intensified by the harmonic doubling of your voice in the choruses.
This is "stop-in-your-tracks-and-listen" songwriting, Ms. Amaya.
