jt3, I can assure you that the update works fine. Out of curiosity, what anti-virus software do you use? Norton has been known to cause grief sometimes with BIAB. Also... When you say "biab seems to be gone from my pc", what do you mean exactly? Are you meaning that they whole c:\bb directory has disappeared or simply the shortcut that starts BIAB has disappeared? Or maybe that the shortcut to start BIAB no longer works? If the problem is due to antivirus software, it could be that the BBW.EXE file that drives BIAB has been quarantined. To double-check this, go to c:\bb and look for BBW.EXE. If you find it, double-click on it to start it and see if BIAB starts. Let us know how you go. Regards, Noel
