I just bought Strummed Acoustic 2 for $49.50 and I am pretty thrilled with it! The strums are incredibly realistic sounding with a huge variety of strum types and a bunch of other settings to humanize them. Used properly, no one would ever know you didn't play these strums! I did a quick and dirty test where I saved a BIAB bass and drum track then "played" the acoustic guitar part in open position for left pan and higher on the neck for the right and was just blown away at how good the combined track sounded!
Now I'm eyeing that Ozone 8/Neutron 2 deal over at Izotope! PG better get BIAB 2018 ready to buy soon or I'm gonna spend all my money on Black Friday deals before it gets here!
I am a big fan of SA2. It sounds great and is actually fun to incorporate into your music. Current pricing is has good as it gets. Unless they drop it more.
OMG - 7 years ago! So I just went to look for SA2 and I could not find it?? Turns out that several years ago when I updated my DAW I neglected to install this VI. I have likely ALL the Session Guitar VI's. But I also have ~100 other virtual instruments. This poor guy fell into the cracks.
So I installed it. "well hell, there it is...!" This is one of my favorites.
Oh, and by the way I have never used the pattern search. But it looks good to me.
I was messing around with this the other night. I also though it sound very realistic. I am not sure how I got this. It may have been in a Kontakt bundle. I saw on my NI account where I paid five hundred something in 2022 for Kontakt. This is one of the problems for me with software, I don't use it for a while and forget I have it. Old age and can't remember Sh**!...lol
I think that if you delete something you want you can go back to your NI account and download it again.
