Hallo, ich habe folgendes Problem (Biab 2016 Version): wenn ich einen Sound für ein Stück auswähle, spielt es mir im Demo einen vollen RealTrack Sound. Wenn ich den Style dann für mein Stück gewählt habe, spielt er aber irgendwelche mageren Sounds, die nichts mit dem Demo zu tun haben.
Ist es auch normal, dass ich unter Ergänzungen nur die Angabe finde:

Herzlich willkommen im Forum!
Welches Pak von Band in a Box hast Du denn damals gekauft? Band in a Box wird in verschiedenen Paketen verkauft, in der kleinsten (preiswertesten) Version "Pro" sind nur eine Auswahl (ca. 200) Real-Tracks enthalten. Es gibt eine Reihe weiterer Paks (mit so fantasievollen Namene wie MegaPak, Plus,Ultraplus, Everything etc.), in denen u.a die zusätzlichen Styles und Realtracks enthalten sind. Du kannst von der Pro-Version auf größere Versionen updaten bzw. einfach Style-Paks dazu kaufen. Es lohnt sich aber evtl. auch, wenn du das gleich mit einem Update auf die Version 2018 verbindest, die zum Jahresende erscheinen wird, und in der Regel zu Beginn mit sehr guten Rabatten um die 50 % angeboten wird.
Vielleicht hast du ja aber auch bereits die zusätzlichen Realtracks, diese aber nicht installiert? Das sind immer gesonderte Installationsdateien (meist in Gigabyte-Größe), also nicht Bestandteil der eigentlichen Programminstallation.

Ja, danke, es war die Pro Version - aber werden denn dann in der Auswahl mehr Styles angezeigt, als ich nutzen kann? Ich brauche ja im Moment nur einen funktionierenden Jazz Swing Style
zb: JAZMID.STY und in den gelben Hinweisfeldern wird auch nicht auf einen fehlenden RealTrack o.ä. hingewiesen. Das kenn ich auch.
Zusätzliche Pakete hatte ich damals installiert - ist auch alles am richtigen Ort, soweit ich das sehe.
Das Programm sagt bei Neuaufbau der Liste, ich hätte 858 Styles installiert.

Falls Realtracks fehlen, kann das verschieden Ursachen haben:
Möglicherweise hast Du die Installationspfade beim Entpacken nicht korrekt angegeben? Dort wird immer noch einmal Laufwerk und Pfad abgefragt. Die Realtracks und Styles sollten immer im Progamm-Installationspfad liegen (Vielleicht ist das Programm auf d:\bb installiert und die Realtracks in c:\bb?). Was ist unter dem Menupunkt "Voreinstellungen-Realtracks" bei dir für ein Verzeichnis angegeben? Sind die RealTracks dort per Häkchen "aktiviert"? Dort kannst Du ggf. auch die Realtracks auf Vollständigkeit überprüfen. Hast du mal per Explorer in das bb\RealTracks Unterverzeichnis geschaut? Sind dort die Realtracks nicht vollständig?
Bei den Style-Dateien gibt es solche, die den Sound per MIDI-Ausgabe steuern und solche, die die Realtracks nutzen. Unterscheiden lassen die sich durch den Stylenamen (alle RealStyles haben einen vorgestellten Unterstrich "_" im Namen). Der Style M_JAZMID.sty ist also ein MIDI-Style und kein Realtracks-Style, wird also immer auch nur MIDI-mäßig klingen (je nach MIDI-Synthie ;-)

Der Link war tatsächlich falsch, er hat auf den Midi Ordner verwiesen und nicht auf den RealTrack Ordner. Und der Hinweis mit dem Unterstrich war super! Danke
