a correction mate.
it is your sound device that dictates how many audio traks you can record at a time in
realband. its my understanding that (and someone can correct me if i'm wrong)..
that you could theoretically record 48 audio traks at a time IF you had a
sound device capable of such , as well as a powerfull enough computer config.
whats your sound device your useing ??
its prolly just capable of recording one mono or one stereo trak
at a time.
read the realband docs n help on how to record multiple traks at a time.
i havent looked recently but i havent seen any 48 input sound devices that are cheap.
therein lies the rub.
you could try one of the echo audiofire firewire devices.
i understand they will let you record 12 audio traks at a time.
youll have to run tests also and see if your pc can keep up.
you select the device in audio preferences.
then on the traks themselves via a drop down you would select which
port to use. its all in the manual etc.
