Ho avuto la malaugurata idea di provare il "meraviglioso mondo" Macintosh. Mi informo prima di procedere all'acquisto di un iMac top di gamma,  , su come procedere con BIAB/RealBand. So che esiste da tempo la versione per Mac, quindi pianifico il "crossgrade". Effettuato l'oneroso acquisto dell'Imac, scopro che RealBand (che sostanzialmente uso per il 95%> del tempo) non è previsto nella versione Mac. Dopo qualche porcone, mi dico che, poco male, reinstallerò il tutto usando Desktop Parallels, tranquillizzato dal fatto che molti utenti sul forum americano fanno così da anni. Chiedo lumi al supporto di PG e mi dicono che non c'è problema, di re installare sotto Parallels. Procedo dunque e...Application Error - Errore 0xc000007. Non c'è verso di fare partire né BIAB (2017 pro) né RealBand. Tento tutte le soluzioni suggerite da vari "esperti", e tutte falliscono. Ora non so proprio più che pesci pigliare...(non mi dite ripassa su Windows  ).... Qualcuno tra di voi, cortesemente, ha avuto esperienze simili e, soprattutto, come è riuscito a venirne fuori? Scusa, ma non potevi prima guardare sul sito l'eventuale esistenza di Realband per Mac? Ti saresti risparmiato un'amara delusione.
Comunque non ti perdi poi molto, Realband è pieno di bug e di problemi irrisolti, vai con Logic e avrai una DAW di tutto rispetto (comprare un iMac top di gamma per farci girare Realband ha poco senso...).
Comunque sotto Parallels e Sierra l'accoppiata BIAB e Realband gira che è una meraviglia sotto Parallels Desktop, non so con High Sierra. Hai aggiornato Parallels all'ultima versione disponibile? Altro non saprei cosa consigliarti.

Buongiorno Alaricus.
Io uso da sempre BIAB per Windows sul MAC.
Ma non mi sono mai fidato di Parallel, non perché non sia buono, ma perché come tutti gli emulatori, non può garantire che tutto funzioni alla perfezione nel quartetto software/emulatore/firmware/hardware.
Per questo invece uso Bootcamp, che è come avere due macchine separate e autonome sullo stesso PC, e non ho mai avuto problemi.
In Windows (Bootcamp) Realband funziona perfettamente, così come BIAB.

Grazie per i suggerimenti. Già tentato tutto  Ovviamente ho dato per scontato ciò che scontato non era...cercherò di non suicidarmi per questo...  L'iMac non l'ho certamente acquistato per BIAB/RealBAND  ma ai due programmi sono molto affezionato...passare a Logic come DAW mi inquieta non poco...non sono abituato a questi livelli di complessità. Sto tentando di imparare Sonus Studio One 3, che ho trovato in bundle con la mia nuova scheda audio PreSonus, oltre a GarageBand, già presente in iMac. Mah, vediamo....che sia davvero un problema di High Sierra? Dovrei fare un rollback, ma che palle, porterebbe via altre ore... quasi quasi prendo la licenza crossgrade per BIAB Mac e poi davvero cambio DAW. grazie!

Altra idea: prova a familiarizzare un pochino con GarageBand, in fin dei conti è come avere un Logic "ridotto", e in più per certi versi è simile a RealBand... Ma più stabile ;-)
Piano piano poi potresti fare il grande salto a Logic...

Ciao, ho iniziato a guardarmi GarageBand un poco, ed in effetti come DAW semplice non è malvagio, alla fine. Certamente non ha le possibilità di RealBand di creare delle backing tracks con la miriade di strumenti (midi e real tracks) che RB presenta, e che è il motivo per cui ho preso BIAB con RB....come pura DAW meglio Sonus Studio, a questo punto, o sbaglio?
