Moin, ich habe nochmal ne Frage zum Midi Sound. Was muss ich tun, damit es nicht wie Zirkusmusik klingt? Ich habe ein Yamaha AG06 angeschlossen (was ja keine Midi Funktion hat) und ansonsten unter Midi Treiber Ausgabe die übliche Microsoft GS Wavetable Synth.
Was würdet Ihr empfehlen? Ein neue Soundkarte? oder Software? Oder habe ich irgenwas falsch eingestellt? Ich bin noch Newbie, was Midi angeht...
Ich würde außerdem gerne einen Gypgsy Jazz Sound im 3/4 Takt finden... alle gypsy real Tracks sind leider in 4/4, deswegen versuche ich Midi. Hat jemand 'ne Idee?

Hallo Uwe, es gibt ganz schöne Gypsy Walzer RealStyles (mit und ohne Drums), wenn du die nicht in deinen Styles gefunden hast, kannst Du sie auch nachkaufen, sie sind im RealStylpak 129 zu bekommen, für 29$ oder natürlich als Teil einer der Pakete. Die Frage nach der Soundqualität bei MIDI-Files hängt tatsächlich sehr vom verwendeten Synthesizer ab, der Microsoft eigene SoftSynth klingt schon sehr schlicht. Es gibt eine ganze Reihe guter, besserer und noch besserer MIDI-Synthies unter Windows (für umsonst, weniger Geld oder mehr Geld ;-). Ich habe für meinen kleinen Laptop vor einigen Tagen eine Lizenz des ganz guten WinLive-Softsynths gekauft. Das ist ien italienischer Anbieter, geh mal auf dessen Seite und hör dir das mal an http://www.promusicsoftware.com/detail0.php?prod=5553&cat=15001400Die hatten einen Black Friday Angebot für € 14,50, aber auch für € 29 ist der noch ganz attraktiv. Etwas weiter unten auf der Seite gibts auch Klangbeispiele. Berichte mal hier im Forum über Deine Erfahrungen, wenn du dich für einen neuen Midi-Synthy entscheidest.

Hi Brille,
danke für die Empfehlung des Winlive Synth, scheint wirklich gut zu klingen, wenn man die Beispiele hört. Ist wohl einen Versuch wert, ich werde berichten.
Zum Thema Gypsy Jazz: ich hatte mir den Pack 129 vor ein paar Tagen wirklich schon nachgekauft, aber wie bekomme ich die auf einen 3/4 Takt? Ich will ja auch nicht immer fragen, aber das RTFM hilft mir da nicht viel weiter...

Hallo Uwe,
die Frage kann ich noch nicht ganz nachvollziehen, aber wir kriegen das hin.
Zunächst: hast Du dein Stück denn schon als Walzer, also im 3/4 Takt angelegt (also z.B. im Feld Taktart rechts neben dem Stylenamen und unter Start-Ende-Strophen "3/4" angegeben)?
Wenn du einen Walzerstyle, z.B. die Styledatei "_GYPSW8S.STY" über den Stylepicker zuweist, wird dein Stück ohnehin, selbst wenn es vorher im 4/4 vorlag, in ein 3/4 gewandelt (nach Warnhinweis), das ist aber meist nicht im Sinn des Erfinders.
Möglicherweise wird dir aber der "_GYPSW8S.STY" gar nicht im Stylepicker angezeigt, weil du evtl. oben im Filter als Taktart nur "4/4" anzeigen vorgegeben hast? Dann hier im Stylepicker im Filterfenster auf das kleine Dreieck neben der 4/4 gehen und aus dem Dropdown 3/4 auswählen und oben im Suchfeld zum Beispiel "gypsw82" eintippen. Dann sollte der Style angezeigt werden. Den dann unten mit dem "OK"-Button deinem Song zuweisen, dann sollte es laufen.
Check das mal. Bei mir funktioniert das alles tadellos.

ok, sorry - ich hatte Pack 109 geladen, nicht 129. Dann ist meine Frage natürlich nicht verständlich. Klar, damit ist es ja kein Problem (Gypsy Waltz!)  Noch eine Frage, wie aktiviere winlive synth in Biab. Kommt es automatisch, wenn ich es installiert und freigeschaltet habe? Danke nochmal

Hallo Uwe,
wie alle MIDI-Synthies: Nach der Installation und Aktivierung von WinLive (das darfst du übrigens auf bis zu 5 Rechnern gleichzeitig machen, ich habe mir das von ProMusic bestätigen lassen) unter Band in a Box auf Optionen-MIDI/Audio-Treibereinstellungen gehen. Dort als MIDI Ouput Treiber WinLive anwählen, voilà!
