Have PT 2016 but unable to use Midi controller keyboard due to significant latency.
2018 Realband has negligible latency when using WAS.
Does 2017 Powetracks use WAS or should I wait for next version?

WAS (WASAPI) was added to RealBand 2018, and usually the update to PowerTracks generally follows a month or so later, so my guess is that it will be included with PowerTracks 2018. I double they will update 2017 for it, however (but hey, sometimes they surprise us). But for now, it's not available.

No. WAS compatibility is new for 2018 Band-in-a-Box and RealBand so I assume the feature will be added to 2018 PowerTracks.

Can either of the experts tell me whether I can use WAS and still input audio from my Behringer UMC 204HD usb interface using RealBand? Its just arrived and I haven't tried it yet and having had problems with Creative's ASIO drivers I would welcome a better system. Or do I have to use ASIO drivers from Behringer?

Bob, The ASIO drivers supplied by Behringer should work fine. You can find them at the bottom of +++ this +++ page.

thanks - the Behringer drivers work fine. the Presonus ones didn't so I was wary!
