Hi all. I was really impressed when Al David posted this great tune awhile back. Al has been very kind in allowing me to do my version. Al has been very busy looking after Di who is not well. So I appreciate his time in setting this up for me.So I guess this cover is really dedicated to Al and Di. Hope you like it. All comments welcome. Thanks again Al for such great material. Very good vocal on a song that has the sound of a "classic".
Your pipes are the real deal for this kind of music- smooth with a touch of world-weary humour.
A good candidate for a video!

Very nice cover of Alan's song!
The arrangement and the singing style are different from Alan's version and it is very interesting.
This version seems as if Presley is singing a standard song.
Enjoyed my listen a lot.

Wonderful cover of a terrific song!! Al does some great stuff! Just so nobody will think I'm jumping on the Al David bandwagon, I have been working on a collab with Al starting before you and David sang these covers. Just wanted to be clear on this. The vocal is very, very good, as is the arrangement. Great job!! Take care. Greg

Sorry to be so late getting to this but I've not been on the sight in several days. As Di improves ... I came down with the flu. Still feeling terrible. And yes ... I got my Flu shot about a month ago!
You really did a super job on this! i'm very pleased with your cut! You have a natural crooner voice ... just what this song needed! I'm delighted you enjoyed it enough to cover it. that's a real complement and I am very appreciative of that! great job! I truly enjoyed it!!!!
