Hi gang.I know I should have asked sooner but-.We are away over the Christmas break and I have copy and pasted the entire 2018Plus and all its bits and bobs from my PC to our Win7 laptop so I cantake it with me.Took FOREVER! When I open it up and explore there is so much that I dont understand-like everything. The impotant thing is I cant see how to find the icon to put on the desktop screen so i can get it to start.Do I have to download the 2018pluspack all over again into it and that gets it to work or what should I look for to get it so that I can click on a shortcut on the desktop and it start up like it does on my PC. Running out of time!!!Sorree!!! Wendy

Search in the C:\bb\ folder for the file "bbw.exe" (without the quotes".
Right click on the file and a sub menu window should pop up.
One of the sub menu choices is "Send to" with a black arrow to the far right. When you move the mouse cursor to the black arrow another menu window pops up.
In the second window, move your cursor to the "Desktop (create shortcut)" selection and left click.
A Band-in-a-Box icon should show up on your laptop's desktop.
Jim/Matt,thank you so much.you saved a girls bacon!!Numpty that I am I expected the logo to pop up on the desktop just because I had copied it all over.I tried both ways and BOTH workd.I now have it on the Dell,it works and I am as always totally grateful for your quick responses and putting up with uber-simple but baff;ing questions from me. Iam getting better-I promise. Anyhow guys,this is the last from me this year.We hit the road Friday morning(UK).I would just like to wish everyone who takes the time to read this stuff and post answres the very best of Christmases and a happy, healthy and very very musical 2018. Be aware that if you performed a 'copy' rather than an 'install', you may not have some of the Fonts that are native to BiaB.
Also, if you attempt to install further BiaB products (Styles, RealTracks etc), the install program may not know where your BiaB installation is. This is because the installer adds this information, and a copy won't.
